G5 – Plum (Prt 4) #Not So Berry

Julie & Plum continue to make friends in school while focusing more on Plum interactions. Plum studies for her exams & completes homework almost everyday spending most of her time in the school library. As her acne becomes increasing worse, Plum decides to stop by the local shop for some cleansers. Oooh, what’s this store!! ‘Thrift Tea’ Plum peeks inside for a closer look, buying herself a new outfit to make her feel better.

While Plum was busy buying outfits, Grey completed his parenting skill by helping Olivia with her homework forcing Olivia to stay home. Olivia’s starting to be led astray by her friends & Grey is really unhappy about it.

It was also soon Julie’s birthday. Forgetting about the new pack, Julie blows out her candles. This is when I remember that I had the pack installed, when her graduation notifications appear. Phew !! Julie still graduates without taking any final exams.

Grey & Plum have a great talk together hopefully becoming more confident about her acne. Meanwhile later in the day, Grey starts having the same thoughts/wants that Ami had prior to Julie growing up. Should I explore this further? Maybe its just a passing thought, who knows …

G5 – Plum (Prt 2) #Not So Berry

The family head to the Cinema for family movie Sunday to watch the latest film. I rejoined my game at this point so not really sure which film was on as it had just ended as game loaded. They continued to have a good time unaided, as Grey prepped himself for work. No matter how he performs, a promotion is going to be while.

When the rest of the family head home, Ami plays cards with the kids but somehow Plum decided to work on her piano skill first. She was still practicing as Grey returned home exhausted, but he decided on his way to bed that he would give Plum some encouragement since he hadn’t influenced her this time.

Oliva started to get scared about the monster under her bed, attempting to wake up everyone in the household. She succeeds but they totally ignore her hoping she would grow up. Was this nightmares from the movie? Had she imagined there was a monster ? Grey couldn’t take much more of the moaning & eventually gave in, spraying the little pesky monster away.

Everyone continues to go about their daily tasks (going to school/work, eating/drinking, bathing etc) until Grey decides it was time to talk to Julie about WooHoo. Julie was starting to become more popular inviting several class mates home, saying ‘whatever’ to the discussion with her dad playing with her phone. It’s not long before she becomes a Y/A so in Julie’s mind she is old enough to do what she wants.

Oliva goes to the park with Savanna after school, then returns home to talk to Mum & Dad about it. Ami was listening but attempts to entice Grey into some adult fun instead. The conversion suddenly becomes awkward, so Grey continues to ignore her listening as Olivia finishes her project.

#Not So Berry – Legacy Update

Upon starting this family again, I was trying to get my inspiration back. Since the Sims4 came to consoles in 2017, I have visited YouTube on many occasions, watching all the famous streamers. It was time to use this method once again.

During my period of non sims4 activity, I became more & more distant from continuing these updates & had attempted to create a different aspect going LIVE on Twitch. Suddenly I found myself with no motivation for either, deciding to almost stop playing altogether. It was too soon for my journey on Twitch, but I did have a fun idea from a different legacy challenge that incorporated more to my game.

Browsing YouTube, I stumbled upon lilsimsie‘s channels. Although I usually tend to watch her in small doses, I decided this time to lurk in some Twitch streams & join her amazing community throughout the St-Jude Marathon. I slowly began to see, that no matter what’s happening in life, she continued to provide her amazing professional content for us all to enjoy putting her own health aside. This opened my eyes & thoughts BIG time. Maybe I should continue after-all. Compared to everything she was going through in May, my petty situation became more & more like a tiny little pebble & not the huge boulder that I thought.

So here I am, about to start the Plum Generation once again. However, I have decided to incorporate the fun idea I briefly mentioned above. If anyone had visited my streams or is planning on watching VOD’s, the Nerdy Bunny collaboration of ‘Pinstar’s Legacy Rules’ had a fun coloring book idea for scoring. I will be using the Family & Athletic scoring sections within my #NotSoBerry Legacy which hopefully should combine the two & bring my love for the Sims back.

Scoring Family

I have updated Plumbob to the present Plum Generation using the same colors in this challenge.

The final 10th & Blue Gen will have a tiny baby Plumbob coloured blue when we finally reach the end goals.

I cannot thank you enough Simsie (for ALL that you do). From the bottom of my heart, I wish you & your family good health (including Snappy). I’ll be watching / lurking (as much as I can) in future, so please everyone reading this (if not already) go follow @lilsimsie, subscribe & all that fun stuff (Links below).

G5 – Plum (Prt 1) #Not So Berry

Greetings, meet Plum as a teen.

I decided for a little added extra fun, our six skills for reaching ‘level 8’ are going to be completely random using the technique below. Plum will inherit the Piano & Skiing skills from her father which will be mastered throughout her journey.

Starting each of the skills, only need to grab the DJ Mixing once I figure out how as a teen.

During her adulthood, I would like to take her to university however this could be too ambitious so let’s see how things go first.
