G1 – Mint (Prt 04) #Not So Berry

Everett visited the following day after work, becoming a great friend. Mint invited him in, eventually deciding to give him a residence key to let himself into the house whenever he wanted. Everett decided to hang around for a while giving Mint a cupcake.

After a few more days working Mint finally went into Labor, phoning Jules on the way to the hospital. When she arrived at the hospital, Jules helped her out the taxi. He hadn’t seen Mint for a while, so he freaked out over how big she looked. Once she was checked in at the desk, he bailed. Mint was taken into surgery, where a doctor I knew turned up. (remember my 7D Legacy-this doctor maybe familiar)

It’s a boy, naming him Rosendo Berry. Mint phoned Jules to let him know the good news and to make sure everything was ok. Arriving home with Rosendo, Jules came over. Mint asked if he would move in to help raise Rosendo together. What she didn’t know was that he had another love interest at home, Bella. She wasn’t sure what he would do. Jules knew he had more of a connection with Mint so said yes bringing his Savings $5,000 with him. Would he forget about Bella? Only time will tell.

Mint concentrated more on her career trying to get her promotion while she thought about it. It paid off, know she is a Serum Sequencer.

G1 – Mint (Prt 03) #Not So Berry

So, hopefully the conclusion of last part resulted in the same decision I had already made within gameplay, that the celebrations of News Years won heads down over festival.

As you may have guessed, Mint travelled to the bar, phoning Everitt on the way. He was delighted for the invite & would see her soon. Mint headed for the ladies to freshen up waiting for the countdown. It just so happened to be singles night at the bar, so the place was very popular that night.

Everett showed up, so Mint decided to go and greet him. It was impossible to find a quite spot together with bystanders joining into each conversation. When they finally got a moment together, Mint decided to make her move increasing their romance bar a little. Everitt was having none of it that night, so plans were not going at all perfect. Guess Everett had decided that we’ll just be friends & nothing more.

Mint gathered at the TV anyway for the countdown. Winterfest was already spoiled, so she was not going to let ‘New Year’ be the same. Jules was across the room spotting how lonely she was, so decided to come & cheer her up. Mint & Jules had a great conversion together which quickly escalated. Could she find love after all, to start the New Year with?

It maybe too much of a presumption at this stage, but Mint decided to invite Jules to stay the night. He very quickly said yes, so the two of them headed back to Mint’s residence having some more drinks together. We all know where a spur of the moment night, can lead.

Yes, your correct. There was a lot of passion that night. Mint & Jules have now become boyfriend & girlfriend.

G1 – Mint (Prt 02) #Not So Berry

Mint was invited to celebrate her upcoming promotion at the night club, where she met Father Winter. The discussions with Father Winter quickly escalated into a fight, from not having a great Winterfest. There is no love lost between these too.

Mint concentrated on her next few days at work, building more of a romantic relationship with Everett giving him a residence key to her small home. Everett invited Mint to the park one night after work, where they talked & built a Snow-pal together (how cute).

Mint earned another promotion to Junior Tinkerer with a couple of days rest bite, as it was now the weekend. Saturday morning Mint decided to visit the local library, using the computers to find out some more information on the web. Further breakthroughs were encountered so she jotted them down for later.

While working away at the library, Mint’s phone started to ring. She quickly popped outside to answer. It was Everitt asking if she would like to go on a date. Mint accepted buying him a couple of drinks. It was a very pleasant date on both sides, Everitt found Mint very easy to talk to.

It was also New Years Eve that weekend, so Mint went home for a little nap hoping she would meet Everett later for the celebrations. Just as it was nearly time to travel to the bar, the romance festival came to town.

Should she meet Everett at the bar for New Years or head to the festival ?

G1 – Mint (Prt 01) #Not So Berry

Mint Berry decided that she would like to be a scientist so applied for the job that was recently advertised. Her employer immediately accepted her for the role with her first day starting tomorrow which was very handy, as she had already used all monthly savings on buying her first house. Mint was down her last $imoleans, needing any kind of income available.

While waiting for her first day to start, a notification on the notice board appeared saying it was prank day. Mint immediately started to cause some mischief in the surrounding area, getting to know her fellow neighbours. It was a huge success, with the welcome wagon staying far away as possible. They didn’t know what to make of her.

It was Mint’s first day. Mint spent most of her time talking to the machines, learning how to use them & practicing some experiments. Her boss was extremely proud watching her every move. Another day like this and she could be looking at a promotion. Getting her first wage slip was little harrowing though, as she felt as though she was getting underpaid. Mint decided not to complain after-all she had the gaffa’s praises straight away.

Winterfest was fast approaching, all she could think, was how skint she would after paying the bills. No-one would be getting any presents from her this year.

Mint had received an invitation to join the garden gnomes. This would later become useful when gathering ingredients for serums etc so Mint accepted the invitation joining the group, then went to the local park to investigate for any collectables. Mint was on a mission to collect all the elements for displaying in the frame she was given as a house warming present.

After a few more days of work & inviting colleagues back to her humble home, Mint finally earned a promotion to Apprentice Inventor. Her bonus was received when winterfest had almost finished.

Silva’s Eco Rags-to-Riches Part Four

With the loan now paid off, Silva continued to do some extra work at home. It was time for a change what she wanted to achieve in life, so aspiration reflected the Eco Lifestyle.

Rocky invited her to go to Spice Festival so Silva decided why not since it’s been a while since they spent time together. Little Andrew was sent to day care after all, Silva had been up many nights with him & needed some rest-bite. Silva managed to collect some ingredients at the festival, for maybe growing a garden round the back of the house for recipes she was planning on learning. She ended up being ‘Plum’d off for No Reason’ (shown below).

It wasn’t long before the weekend when voting opened again for the next NAP. Silva decided to choose Eco-Friendly Appliances hoping to eventually become fully off-the-grid going back to scouting days with no electronics’ at all.

Her old chum (Bess) from Uni phoned looking to borrow some money for a new business venture, Silva decided to contribute although she was very skeptical about receiving repayment. Silva soon regretted her decision and went to a morning jog to clear her mind.

Hope you enjoyed this little mini series, as futures updates will no longer appear. Lost saved file so started a new couple new challenges instead.

Silva’s Eco Rags-to-Riches Part Three

Silva was planning on declining the last bribe, but during gameplay I accidently pressed the other option. Her manager was un-impressed immediately demoting her, saying she wasn’t ready to proceed in this stage of the career.

Using $500 of her bribe money she decided to pay a bit of her loan. After-all she had already damaged her career with the public knowing about the bribe. Starting to feel bad about it all she was losing sleep, not hearing from Rocky at all. Her jealous trait made her even more anxious & stressed so she decided to give him a call. Ring, Ring, no answer.

Silva was determined that the correct choices where going to be taken for future cases, so she accepted the testimony below gaining a reward & a little fame. Things were starting to look up.

Doc visited while I was working, finding trespassers in the neighbourhood helping themselves to everything my house. Being the caring dad he is, he made sure that they left before I returned from work. Shortly afterwards the repo-man appeared again, due to the fact I was unable to make payment through working hours. Doc was still there managing to convince him to take some of my old books. He also promised him that I would pay the rest when home.

When dad told me what happened I decided to use the remainder of the bribery money to pay off the entire outstanding balance of the loan.

Silva’s Eco Rags-to-Riches Part Two

Silva continued with day-to-day life over the weekend taking care of baby Andrew. She had gained enough money to be able to pay $200 to her loan. Johanna & Doc appeared at the door, looking to meet Andrew so Silva decided to invite them in.

Doc seemed to be great with baby Andrew entertaining him when attention seeking. Silva explained about how the locals where asking for the modern development in area, trying to clear the rubbish lying around. Both Doc & Johanna agreed helping her to promote the cause.

Then Rocky showed up at the door, so Silva let in him in also. Drinking a cuppa together hoping to get to know each other better. It was a great day.

Silva’s next shift at work, after an eventful weekend, earned her a raise to Honorable Arbitrator. Few days later she while working at home reading her next cases, she was offered a bribe to rule in favor of the defendant.

Silva’s Eco Rags-to-Riches Part One

The day finally came when Silva had to start packing her bags and leave the university student housing. Where to now? Back to her parents or venture out in the world all on her own.

Since the majority of simmers choose Rags-to-Riches, Silva spotted a new plot of land near Grim’s Quarry in the Evergreen Harbour neighbourhood. She left university with $4011 in her pocket & a $2768 student loan to pay. Still with the possibility of being pregnant, Silva decided she had to start thinking about getting a roof over her head. She completed her next shift as a barista, earning a pay raise. While building her little house, the locals had mentioned that there was a vacancy as a judge available and told her to go for it. After-all this is what she studied for, making her perfect for the role. So, she quit her Barista job & applied for the judge taking a big leap of faith that she would get it.

Her degree paid off, advancing to level 8 of the career and gaining all perks in her inventory. This was perfect as her house started to become liveable with new furniture etc. As you can see from the pic, Silva did leave university with a little offspring to take care of. She decided to take Rocky to meet her parents, and tell them the good news. Johanna was delighted, although Doc was not in the best of moods. Silva stayed clear as he was getting ready to explode, so maybe not the best time to stick around. She headed back home.

A few days passed, with Silva going to work earning some savings for when the baby is born. She totally forgot all about the student loan she still had, so never made any payments towards it.

You guessed it, the repo-man showed up deciding that he would take the shower as payment and warned Silva not to do it again. Of course all this added extra stress which sent her into early labour. By the end of the night, little baby Andrew was born.

Silva managed to get a little bit of work done while the baby was sleeping before her next shift the following day.

7d – Sneezy – Silvia’s Conclusion

Silvia took Sneezy death hard. Everything in the house reminded her of Sneezy with her parents not being supportive as they were also grieving. Deciding as the twin’s birthday was soon, that she will run away to Britechester with the $150 savings that she had stuffed her bed. She wanted to make sure she still graduated in Sneezy’s memory.

Using the scholarship she had been awarded, she enrolled in a History degree hoping finally to be a judge. Silvia paid for her digs, classes etc using a student loan, keeping her savings for getting by. She aced first term making friends, trying to stay hidden from her parents. Second term (also paid by loan), Rocky started showing some interest in her. This made it slightly difficult to concentrate on schoolwork, failing her elective class. Oh also forgot to mention, during her time at university she took a part-time job to survive making her house funds build up nicely. Silvia used the canteen on a few occasions & ate food cooked from her fellow students, instead of forking out her own money. By third term she was able to afford her classes, digs etc as scholarship was starting to give good reductions due to her amazing grades. Although she only committed to three classes this term wanting to see what happens with Rocky. Rocky had left student housing during this term, so Silvia didn’t get to see him as much as second year. He did however continue to call/text asking to meet. Realising that she must knuckle down this semester to keep grades up, Silva declined a few of these invites. Final term was a breeze, having only to complete the remaining two classes, graduating successfully.

She met up with Rocky in the club during the fourth & final term only to find him hitting on someone else. She immediately went back to the digs to collect her thoughts, playing a little table tennis with classmates. A few days later Silvia & Rocky met up again to discuss the situation at the club, where Rocky apologized. What happened next came as complete surprise, Rocky asked her to be his girlfriend, celebrating with a little fun in the shower. Who knows maybe these two will have history together after-all.

7d – Sneezy – Part Four

Doc ends up getting a further raise from his boss, so the family decide to pack up for the summer heading to Campsite in the woods.

Sneezy takes this opportunity to venture deep in the woods, trying to collect some unusual plants for her studies. She ends up getting lost in the middle of a thunderstorm not knowing where to take cover or how to survive. Getting very scared, wishing back home with family, Sneezy ends up in trouble.

Since Sneezy had been away for several hours, Doc decides to go looking for her, only to find Grim had already visited. The lightning had struck several times resulting in her demise.

I was deeply upset by this point, which I believe you may be the same. This ending was accidental since I was really enjoying this challenge. It took me a while to continue with this story, but I have now constructed a final, happier ending to this challenge. Please stick around as it will be posted within the following week.
