Plum concentrates on skill building heading to the slopes, forgetting about Eloise. However, for some reason Plum cannot erase Eloise from memory making the trip to Mt. Komerabi unsucessful.

Updates with the latest pack Growing Together & infants were on the horizon at this point.

To prepare, I tend to speed run Plum Gen without taking many screenshots. In this time the toddlers age up to kids & Ami gets the fear of death.

Having dinner together Plum asks everyone what they should do. Replies given – it’s up to you, we’ll still love you the same no matter what, so if Eloise makes you happy then go for it.

Well what happens a few in-game days later surprised me …

Oh no, Ami joins Grey in the afterlife. Is it too soon to pack up & leave ? I almost feel bad about leaving Oliva & Felix behind but need new surroundings & gameplay to enjoy playing. I take the plunge regardless moving into a lot from the gallery.

This was now Plum’s third location, heading to the desert in Oasis Springs. Throughout neighbourhood stories Eloise had a already adopted a dog. (what family would be complete with out one) Also, I had almost forgot about Abel who is now a toddler which Orange started resenting the fact that he had to share a room once again.

Plum gets a call from Julie which reminded me – Had Orange met Julie yet ? Relationship panel shows nothing so I guess not. Maybe she had moved out before he was born. Well it’s time to fix that, Orange visits his aunt in the city & immediately hits it off becoming jokesters (family dynamnic) together. She also adopted a dog, Peanut Butter (I know, never picked the name myself so thought this was hilarious). Orange spent time getting to know both of them.

While Orange & Julie were getting acquainted, Plum starts a burnout phase. She starts dancing to relax. Mordaciously this helped as she still gained a promotion after next shift. I’ll keep checking if remains in this burnout for long, but loving the pack so far. I’ve barely started & already the drama has made this blog longer.

Long time, no see.. Apologies for disappearing once again (6month hiatus), geez didn’t think it was that long. Anyway so much had happened when I returned to game after starting to get my head around the family.

Felix & Orange had both aged to toddlers, Ami is scared of death & Olivia had not moved out after all. (Guess we forgot about past events) Bringing you’ll up-to-date the story continues ….

Eloise still hadn’t moved in after the wedding since Ami stole all the attention having Felix, so Plum decided to call her over. What a bad decision that was, argument after argument had taken place. Eloise wanted Plum to move in with her & to have a sibling for Orange. Plum was furious that she was suggesting this so early, I’ve got lots of skill building to do & help take care of Felix for my mum. Plum told Eloise that they both disagree & to go home. After a few days, Plum hadn’t heard anything from Eloise, so decided it was time to pay her a visit. I had decided at this point to do a quick check on neighborhood stories.

What this ? Did Eloise choose otherwise, anyone else shocked ? Well now we definitely need to visit but before I can select travel, Plum gets a call.

Now’s our chance, finding baby Abel. It’s not his fault, so when he fell asleep again Plum askes Eloise what’s going on. Voices started to raise causing more arguments. I can’t be dealing with this right now, think we need to call it a day Eloise.

With the big day looming, Plum rethinks pronouns (please feel free to correct any grammar from here on in with these pronouns as I am new to this) while Hitomi attempts to be best friends. Both met once at the ski slopes so let me think ? Nah not today, maybe in the future. Hitomi feels rejected by Plum decision.

Plum decided to take a nap in prep for wedding in the afternoon, but someone had other ideas ….

It’s a boy !! The orange gen had arrived early (I did mean to take screenshot, but it appeared I must have forgotten or it didn’t save) Well this was unexpected.

Anyway, it was time to take our vows. Member I said it would be low key, I didn’t mean that the rest of family wasn’t invited. Oops another controller error, what’s wrong with me in this part. Wedding consisted of both brides & Ami, that’s it. I guess Julie was a little unimpressed, judging by her latest DM.

Plum mastered her dancing skill & posted about the wedding, as everything seemed a pleasant day. On the way home, Ami suddenly started to get labor pains. Oh, no not again, I knew this would happen but thought Orange would be closer to a toddler by the time Plum gained a new sibling. Well, off you go Ami … I’ll stay here and watch over everything.

As I started to follow Ami to the front of the house, Ghost Grey appeared following her all the way & disappearing at the same bit. I wish I had captured the moment as it touched a little part of my heart that he went with her. Ami returned with baby, Felix (another boy). I felt in some way he was the lucky sim that got conceived before Grey’s demise hence the name chosen.

Olivia starting to feel more & more distant, I mean her sister just got married – she gained a nephew & a brother just after her dad had not long passed. Wouldn’t you feel the same, wanting to escape, I know I sure would. I follow Olivia to school gaining more relationships for where her story goes from here. And amongst it all Plum tries asking for more – just as well it’s your b’day Olivia, let’s get outta here.

She’s graduating, as if I thought she wouldn’t, hopefully fingers crossed gameplay will happen since it’s showing on calendar. I just need to remember, incase no notifications appear – but this is a big step forward (EA had addressed glitches in the latest patch PC: 1.91.186.1030 / Mac: 1.91.186.1230 / Console: Version 1.63)

Well, maybe it’s time to tell Eloise I guess. I mean I haven’t heard from her in days.

Plum: ‘Do you want to take a stroll up to the waterfall?‘
Eloise: ‘Sure why, not. It is late but also nice out‘
Plum just comes out with it: ‘I’m pregnant’ What do you think we should do?‘

They both continue to talk through it, but somehow it ends with a proposal. Plum is still a little insure about the relationship, but can’t have a kid without being wed first.

Eloise says ‘Yes’ & they both head home to respective houses. Plum heading to bed for sleep, I totally forget about the rest of the household.

Then this popped up …. I stop controlling u for two seconds, Why Grey Why?

I wanted you to walk Plum down the Aisle. You’ll never met your grandkid AND your own child. Ami had shocked me when attending to Grey’s grave side in the rain. I had no idea Ami had preceded with her thoughts after asking both kids. At least Plum won’t be alone.

Thinking ahead Plum asks her mum ‘Would you be my sim of honor?’ Ami immediately says ‘Yes’ but considering the circumstances it will be a very low key wedding. It is rushed for all the wrong reasons but necessary.

It was time to check in on Julie after she left. She never took a lot of savings with her, so she found a roommate that had a cat & was struggling to make rent. Julie moved in, immediately getting to know both of them.

She wanted to be mean to someone, so invited over Shigeru (only bc friendship bar was low). A heated discussion took place, then when she found out he was the landlord, the discussion took a whole new level. She couldn’t believe that the landlord would let this sim stay here for that long in these conditions. Needless to say, don’t think there is any loved lost between them.

Once the landlord left, Julie told Gilbert all about it since he slept the whole time. He is glad to have a friend like Julie who isn’t afraid to speak her mind. Let’s hope this is the start of another branch of tree.

Back with the rest of the family, Grey is still having problems advancing in his career. Maybe the professional slacker trait might help (I mean he has several points to use, so why not?). It’s a bit early to tell, so I gave Grey a few vacation days. Have I damaged it more, who knows?

Plum is keen to start something new, so joined the entertainer career (still advancing straight to level 3). While waiting on her next shift, she heads to the slopes once again having a great time until … what ? … wait …. that’s my book Sir, put that down. Plum had only stepped aside for a second to take a selfie with Hitomi. After he put it down, I was about to snatch it back when — wait a minute … now you? Come on, this is how I lost the previous one. (note to self, stop reading in public)

Plum headed home to try & get some sleep, but kept thinking ‘How is Eloise getting on?’. Maybe I’ll sent her a quick message just to be sure.

Heading to bed, it wasn’t long before she awoke again. What’s the game throwing at us now, I go and check …

Eh? Is this right ? Are you sure ? Did I miss something ?
When was Eloise & Plum together ?

I do have neighborhood stories for all played / un-played sims on, but I thought the current household was exempt for that period of time. Does the game still think I’m playing with Julie?, even though it was at least 2 IRL hours playing time with Plum.

Anyway I guess this will do, the story might have been going in this direction in my head but this gameplay is so much rewarding & funny since the latest patch updates.

Don’t change, I’m actually starting to enjoy it even though this situation with Grey’s career is little annoying but that’s the fun of it. I am eager playing for this reason, as it brings a lot more drama. I love it.

It wasn’t long before Ami asked Plum’s opinion on having a kid, to which she responds ‘It’s up to you, I don’t care’. Plum has this festering grudge towards Ami anyway although I’m not sure why.

Gaining the next promotion in Fast Food career – that should have been completed before birthday – Plum applies to help the doctor’s in the local hospital. She gets the job, immediately entering at level 3. (Whoaw that happen fast?) Alrighty then, skill building it is (since I choose the harder route of picking various skills).

Plum heads to the slopes, spending almost 24 hours there which also included relaxing in the hot springs. I’m still not sure who Plum is meant to be with at this point so always on the look-out. She does however develop this crush on Eloise.

Could this be the one? Plum takes her to lunch to find out ….

It doesn’t go to plan, but feel some progress has been made. Let’s wait a few days & see what happens.

During this time, Plum gains the want to quit job before she has even begun.

It’s done I hit the button. Plum starts talking to Ami about it.

Plum: Have I done the right thing, mum?
Ami: Yes, I always say follow your heart. It will never steer you wrong.
Plum: Thanks mum. Why did I ever doubt myself?

Pop-ups then appeared for Grey & Ami to age up. No !! I’m not ready for this. Grey is still having difficulties completing the career. This irresponsible trait is starting to cause more & more hassle, with the progress bar always on a downwards spiral – no matter what I do. I think … (i could be wrong) but Grey may feel the same way.

It soon came to Plum’s birthday & I hadn’t seen any notifications of Graduation.

I didn’t want to use the computer or talk to Principal to Graduate early as there is known bug that turns you into a guest instead.

EA Updates – 30th August

Early Graduates now receive their diploma and no longer are erroneously told that they are dropping out.

So Ami started baking a cake to celebrate but Plum couldn’t wait. Gutted never got to do a proper graduation, but always next time.

The aging up process seemed to have reset the progress bar on career. She was just about to get a promotion, so it’s time to get some fun for her birthday down at the nightclub.

Plum spends all night/day in the nightclub, while waiting a few days for the next shift working on skill building. Heading next door to the gym, she makes new friends.

During school hours, Olivia received a call from Ami asking thoughts on having a baby. Julie had moved out so Ami obliviously must be missing her. Olivia said ‘Go for it’ so I’ll guess we’ll see what happens next.

Fears successfully removed, hoping Grey’s career progresses in the right direction although it will be several days before he returns to work.
It’s Christmas Eve in game & also career day in School. Both Plum & Olivia attend.

The next morning (would you believe it on Christmas Day), there is a dreaded phone call. Ami’s sister had passed during the night. Ami hadn’t spoke with her in so long, so most of the kids were young when they first met. Ami decides not to let it spoil their day & consoles each of them separately, even though she was still grieving herself.

Plum decides to sneak a present before anyone else, then spends the day in awe of Grey playing keyboard. She also attempts to play later in the day, with Grey encouraging her. Surprisingly the day had gone well, until Father Winter appears. I’m not sure what’s scary about this household, but everyone welcomes him anyway.

Returning to school after the holiday’s, Plum gets a notification…
I decide to accept. There is another Prom on the horizon, which Plum still has no date for. Now that’s she has graduated, should we still go ?

Let’s hope the game doesn’t glitch & Plum gets the graduation ceremony she deserves.

I know Julie had missed out on hers, during EA patches to fix small glitches.

Not much happened during Prom, since it was unexpected & I hadn’t planned for it but both Plum & Olivia decide to post on social media instead.

Olivia had went to the after party, but no-one was around. She grabbed something to eat then headed home after taking a ride in the Love Tunnel.
Next day at school Plum seems to be the only kid in class. Oops, could this be a new glitch.
Let’s play on anyway, catching up with all the teens in lunch hall. Olivia was there already talking to Tamika. It’s not surprising that Olivia’s post gets lots of interest.

Forgetting about Grey, it now gets harder to complete to his only remaining task
‘Master Athlete Career’

Having the fear ‘dead end job’ & being irresponsible now adds more dimension, as he gets demoted in work. We now have three stages to complete before he becomes an elder in .. days. Spending aspiration points, I’m going to get rid of that fear then keep my eye on him during working hours.

Plum walks out of her exams on the first Friday at school.
After studying all week, I guess she aced exam quicker than other kids. Nah, its just a common glitch. Why game? Why Plum? I started to let the game continue, hoping studying will carry her through, but somehow Olivia does better in her exams without studying or being at school longer than a day or two.

Oh well, while Plum heads to work – Olivia celebrates at the pier strolling home around 2:30am.

Plum couldn’t sleep for worrying about passing her exams, so she decides to attempt read another book. After reading a couple of pages she realized she couldn’t concentrate. Putting the book down, Plum attempts to head back to bed.

Her dad Grey, finds her lying on the couch in the morning asking what happened. Plum fills him in about school & how stressed / worried she was.
Listening to Plum, he then decides to spend the day at the slopes in Mt. Komorebi to help her forget about it all about it so he calls work for a vacation day. They both have a great day together, post Grey checking the conditions on the hill.

Julie gets a phone call, being invited to meet a new toddler that Yamato adopted. She accepts heading to their house saying ‘Hi’ to Haylee. During this conversation, a notification crops up …

It’s time for Plum & Olivia to attend prom. Will this help or not ?
I accepted & they both appear at the school.
Plum still worried about exam results, she takes herself to a quite corner while Olivia is right amongst everyone. Getting to know the dancers on the dance floor, Olivia develops a crush on Tamika.

Once the Prom Jester & Royalty is announced, Olivia finds out that Tamika had won. Should she explore & get to know Tamika or pass ? While figuring it out, Olivia get invited to party afterwards. Let’s go …
