7d – Doc – Part Twelve

Sneezy waited anxiously on any knew from the Uni.   Several days went past with nothing in emails or post.   Things were not looking good.    On fifth day Sneezy returned home from school to find out that she was declined for the Scholarship.   She wanted to apply again but found out that it can only be applied for once.  Meanwhile Doc was working away at the hospital when a pregnant lady came in about to collapse so he decided to attend straight away, successfully delivering the baby and also saving the adult sim too.

To cheer up sneezy the family headed for camping area for a little day trip.  Sneezy went exploring in the woods to be alone and came across a little cave.   She ventured inside to find no – one around for ages.   She decided to stick around exploring the local area when she came across Marcella.   Speaking with Marcella in a water I might add (strange), she found out that a hermit lives in the abandoned house and that she should come back to meet him.    Hopefully she manages to get the chance again as he could become her new best friend teaching her all about the wilderness.    Returning to the family, Sneezy decided she would do her extra credit homework while the rain was off trying to gain some education before venturing in the big bad world.

Back at home Doc had his next shift storming his way through the tasks to gain yet another promotion.   This time to a surgeon.

Silva decided to apply for Super Scout to help Sneezy as she still jealous of attention with the clinic.   Silva thought she could fulfil her dads dreams of at least one kid going to uni.

Joanna had been publishing lots of books while everyone was a school or work.   Through all her hard work she got nominated for an award.   Of course, she was delighted speaking with Doc to accompany her to the ceremony a few days later.    Johanna was bussing and couldn’t think of anything else hoping she won.   She prepared a few speeches just in case.

Silva came home enraged from something at school desperately wanting to get out of school.  She checked her email finding out her scholarship was accepted.   Her mood jumped straight back to ecstatic as this is all she wanted to do.

Joanna won her award, while doc mastered his career taking the highest promotion to chief.

7d – Doc – Part Eleven

Sneezy headed to Brindleton Bay with her mates after school and seen a little vet clinic up for sale.  (taken from the Gallery ‘Pawsome Pet Clinic’ by zero_doll999) as I don’t have the imagination to create myself.   Sneezy wanted to persue Veterinary as a career when older, so after returning home, she decided to speak to her parents.   Doc agreed, deciding to buy on the condition that she also continued her studies at school hopefully reaching university.    Sneezy gave Doc a huge hug as she was delighted, they had supported her decision.

Doc & Sneezy finished the last of the birthday cakes, before her perfect day visiting the newly accommodated clinic.   Sneezy started getting everything together for opening day, spending hours, not realised that the time was now in the early hours of the morning.  Shattered she only just made it to make school without doing her homework.   She knew if Doc found out she would lose everything, so she tried to complete homework in-between her classes.   She was caught eating her lunch in the bathroom as most of time was making sure homework was completed.

Sneezy seen a poster in school with some scholarships that were available next term in University.    She decided to apply for Friends of the Animals as it suited everything she wanted to do.   Also hoping that this would make up for the school calling her dad.

When Sneezy arrived home, Doc wasn’t happy but when he heard her news his mood lightened and decided praise Sneezy instead.    Boy how things change rapidly in the Sims, why I love playing these Let’s Plays.

Several weeks went by with not much happening apart from another promotion for Doc to Medical Specilist and Sneezy receiving a compliment at school along with good grades.

7d – Doc – Part Ten

Time sure flies as soon it was New Year’s Eve.   A note on the notice board mentioned that there was going to be a gathering in the Salty Paws Saloon.    Doc decided to take the family to celebrate together.   As the photo suggests, Doc & Johanna had a fabulous time during the bell’s.   Not sure why Sneezy felt she had to watch but hey, that’s the Sims for ya.   Silva clearly had other things on her mind finding a kid from school to talk to.

The following morning, suffering from hangover’s & tiredness the family decide to go bowling.    They clearly wouldn’t win any tournaments but gave it their best shot and were spending more time together.    Sneezy found Silva’s toy robot to play with while Silva completed her homework, breezing through as she forgot she hadn’t done it at-all that weekend.

Kids head to school on the Monday closely followed by Doc going to work.   Johanna once again had the house to herself.   She decides to continue with writing creating more stories and collecting lots of Royalties’.   Her little self-employed business is surely coming along.    While Doc was at work a collapsed sim entered the hospital.  Doc was in the vicinity when it happened so decided to treat the patient very quickly.   His prompt actions were noticed by his supervisors earning another promotion to GP.

Silva was talking about the latest computer games with some kids at school, coming home also talking about the new game with Doc.   So, he decides, as had several promotions lately that he will buy a games console for the twin’s birthday’s in couple of days.

During the News Years party in the Salty paws, resolutions were made.  Johanna wanted to shed some pounds within the next 7 days.   To complete this resolution, she heads out for a little jog.    Doc & the twins realise that she had been gone a while and were looking for her to make dinner as they were getting hungry.   Both twins head out to look for her in-case anything bad happened while Doc started to cook dinner.   Johanna was found at the local stall eating hot dog.   Clearly, she’s doing well and at this rate not able to complete.

The days rolled on and soon it was the twin’s birthdays.   Sneezy decides on a different look, while Silva continues with the scouts.   (only clothes and hair makeovers – still think twims have the same facial structures)

Doc gave them their games console to share, setting it up in the living room. Everyone had a great time learning to play the game that Silva was talking about.

7d – Doc – Part Nine

Doc had a call from Cameron asking if he wanted to join him celebrating Doc’s recent promotion.   They headed out to dinner discussing work and catching up with all the gossip.

Johanna is getting fed up with the noises in the opposite flat. It’s hard to continue focusing on writing more novels.    She continues with housework deciding not to complain as both Doc & Johanna were making much the same noises the morning before.

During school that day Silva decides to pull prank on an annoying kid for revenge in the cafeteria sabotaging her brownie for the other kid to take.   Silva see’s the kid take it as expected and has a little chuckle.     What she didn’t expect was the principal to appear looking for a brownie for his lunch.    The annoying kid decides to stay in his good books and offers the last brownie that he took to him.   The principal was very grateful and praised the other kid for thoughtful gesture.    Silva now realising What has she done? and wondering what will happen next.

Sneezy was getting tense from working so hard with homework doing all the extra credit work that she needed to get out of the house.   It was a nice day outside, so she put on old clothes heading down to local communal area at the bottom of their flat.    Even though its just on their doorstep she hadn’t been in a while.   The basketball area was the perfect opportunity to practice dribbling maybe eventually getting on the team in school.

7d – Doc – Part Eight

Doc had to start thinking about how to solve the monster situation that kept kids awake most nights.    He originally thought it was just their imagination’s running wild and sprayed their room constantly, telling them to get over it and get back to sleep.   It was now becoming a serious problem as they all needed sleep.   So, he invested in a night light which is supposed to calm kids & keep pesky monsters at bay.    Hopefully it works.

Sneezy started the yellow bear phase, maybe from wanting to be out in the wilderness, who knows.    She was also awarded extra credit for completing project a few days ago.

Been a long time coming not hearing much from Doc, but he eventually he gets promotion to RN.   (description taken from https://simscommunity.info/2015/04/06/get-to-work-doctor-career-promotion-requirements-rewards – Your commitment to health-care is second to none. As a result, you have risen to the indispensable role of nursing leadership. High-ranking doctors may have great theoretical knowledge of treatment, but the hospital would certainly grind to a halt without your practiced supervision)

Doc hangs his diploma in the living room showing Sneezy & Silva what they can achieve if they study/work hard.   He expects high hopes from them both, and on that note Sneezy mentions that she is now top of the class in school, earning Grade A.   Doc couldn’t be prouder, having one of the best days ever.

Winterfest was next on the horizon which gave Sneezy & Silva days of school.    They spent most of the day decorating, putting up the tree and opening presents.    Not sure why Sneezy was not impressed, possibly a little favouritism towards Silva.

Kids had fun during these school holiday’s playing snowball fights and building snow-pal in the park.   Winterfest always is a great way to lift everyone spirits.

7d – Doc – Part Seven

Both Silva & Sneezy decided to make the most of the last few hours at campsite before the rain started again.   They were starting to become better friends as their twin sister relationship increased.    Sneezy explored the campsite deciding when & what to see on her re-visit.

Back home, Silva decided to check her status on the Scout board, since she believed that many tasks were completed while on holiday.   She found out that she is promoted to Unicorn Scout earning the remaining two badges that were required.   Silva was in good spirits and couldn’t wait till her next scout meeting the following weekend.

Johanna’s books were starting to make good profits earning several royalties.  She decided that she would continue writing and being a stay-at-home mum in-between.

Back at school, Sneezy brought home a school project to complete.    After finishing her usual homework & eating dinner, she decided to open and start having a look at what was required.   She became very excited and continued to work a little on it.     While Sneezy working away, Silva was clearing their room finding her old Camera that Doc previously gave them.    Silva thought to herself ‘I never use this, why don’t I give to someone who would benefit from it.    She went to speak with Doc asking if it was ok to donate to Charity.   Doc was pleased she was thinking of others, but rather the money in his own pocket.  Silva persuaded him to take her advice and that it was something she really wanted to do.  Silva made the call and was going to drop it off after school the following day.  Maybe the scouts where beginning to teach her how to be passionate to others. The following night helping Doc finish her own school project, Silva suddenly remembered that she had to check her Scout board again.   One more task to complete & the Responsibility badge would be hers.  Being in the scouts suited Silva, loving every minute.

7d – Doc – Part Six

Silva decided while she was sick that she would join the scouts when back at school.   Doc also had to think how he was going to improve techniques at work as performance bar still glitched.    He invited some colleagues round for a catchup at home and decided to watch a movie that was about to start on tele.

Silva was accepted at scouts and already done tasks for one of the badges.    Her aim was to complete these tasks again making sure she will get the badge for her first meeting.   Afterall she likes to be better than everyone else.

Doc desperately needed a holiday, seeing on the noticeboard at work about a little campsite ground nearby in Granite Falls.   He went shopping on the way home buying camping materials and a tent.    He mentioned to the rest of the family and they were delighted.

The Snow-White headed for mountains to pitch their tent and have some quality time together.   What they didn’t plan for was the weather …..

The weather barely improved, eventually they managed to eat breakfast out-with the tent.  Sneezy realised that she really enjoyed being out in the wilderness, wanting to explore further one-day.

The kids also brought their homework and automously made sure it was completed (who knows why) but turning out to be great kids.   Doc and Johanna were very proud.    Sneezy played as much she could in cold wintery weather.

Before they were due to head home, they gathered around the campfire.  Sneezy didn’t want to go but was promised they visit again in better weather conditions.

7d – Doc – Part Five

Kids birthdays were here yet again (I made sure adult’s never aged by taking potions from aspiration points. Assuming this is ok as not technically cheating with codes etc.   They are working hard for their points).

Doc bought Sneezy & Silva a camera for their birthday.  Johanna baked another chocolate cake for them blowing the candles out.

Sneezy decided to go outside to practice with her camera and saw the basketball court instead.   She ditched the camera & went to play basketball.   Both kids headed to school the following morning after the perfect birthday celebrations.    Silva yet again became sick, so Doc checked her before sending to school and realised she had eaten something that give her a sore belly.   Johanna wrote an excuse note and Silva was sent back to bed after taking some medicine.   Silva spent the day relaxing letting the medicine do its job.

7d – Doc – Part Four

Doc got his first house call during his next shift.   Enele Kahananui & Moira Freyes were fine only needing medicine, there was however a third patient which appeared to be an annoying game glitch.

Both kids found it hard to sleep with the noisy neighbours and thunderstorms outside.  They were often in the parent’s bedroom looking for comfort.

Doc extremely tired due to lack of sleep with kids, making all the patients unhappy as always diagnosing treatments wrong.   Ever since the glitch with house call, Doc found it hard to get the performance bar to promotion level.   After each shift, he collapsed in bed, before helping with any housework leaving everything to Johanna.

Johanna had to get out of the house, so she took the family including Doc to the toddler park again.   Silva became sick, so Doc took her home leaving Johanna playing with Sneezy.

7d – Doc – Part Three

Life certainly changed around the house with twin babies.   Both Doc & Johanna attended to the twins together when they started crying sharing responsibility evenly.    Doc became more & more tired at work with lack of sleep at home.    Johanna decided to be a stay-at-home mum, but still missed keeping herself busy at work, so she took the twins shopping and bought herself a laptop.   Johanna thought that while the kids were asleep, she could work from home starting her little business of a self-employed writer.   She already aced school which made her confident that this little business would succeed.    All she had to do now was name it.    Johanna came up with the perfect idea a ‘Mini Doctor Series’ explaining and providing examples of Real-Life Doctor / Patient scenarios.    Obviously, no customer details were published just how the doctor’s managed to juggle work during their long shifts.     Doc & Johanna now had another thing in common which made their marriage stronger.

Doc eventually had a day off during the weekend, so decided to explore the city.   He met people along the way, watching a buster play in the centre (donating some money).    The local vendor opened her food & drink stall. Doc bought a coffee and sat in the park for a while.    During his time in the park he noticed that the busker had no-where to go, so Doc bought him food & drink from the stall and said, ‘no need to pay me back, I enjoyed your performance earlier’.    On the way home Doc found a couple of posters which he thought might be handy for the kid’s bedroom.   He snatched for a closer look back home.

After his next shift the following day, he realised how much he missed being home with the kids.   He knew that they would eventually have to get a bigger place as the kids grew.   Doc had continued to work, like many of us simmers, paying for bills/food etc.

Between Johanna & Doc working & taking care of the kids, they had little time to themselves for playing.    It wasn’t long before the kid’s birthdays, so Doc bought some small kid’s bed’s as both twins were now outgrowing their bassinette’s.    Johanna made cake for the family to enjoy spending the day together.

Silva is two mins older than Sneezy, so she tends to get their parents attention all the time.   Sneezy however, maybe turning into a tomboy, determined to care for herself (this is my opinion, you decide).
