Devlin aged up into a teenager and was starting to be a bit more rebellious, breaking the house rules.    He never really fully recovered from the project incident with Cayden.   He escaped to a night club one evening breaking curfew and made some great friends.   On his return, Cayden had been watching at the window.   He immediately knew that there was trouble ahead so started to get a little angry.

Cayden punished Devlin by grounding him for a few days, so he took his revenge out on Eleanor’s school project destroying it.    Although Eleanor was furious, her project had already been in school earning her good grades, it was just a memory she kept from primary school.

Cosmo became ill again and this time it was too late to go the vet.   The family rallied around while Grim said his speech.  Little Eleanor was heartbroken.

Eleanor took Cosmo to the vet again, as she was being sick all over the kitchen floor.   The vet examined and gave a diagnosis of Projectile Repugnitis, so time for the cone yet again since Eleanor cannot pay for any treatment being a kid.

Cayden realized that Courtney had not visited for years and wanted the kids to get to know her before they become teens.   They decided to meet at a café in town to make the kids comfortable as possible since the family had been there on many occasions and it was familiar.   Courtney made progress chatting to both the kids and found out how much she had missed with the family growing up.  She planned with Cayden to visit on a frequent basis, to ensure the kids don’t forget her.

The kids saw Aunt Courtney more often around the house when she visited regular.    Billie’s mum had also passed away around this time which affected Billie having to take of work for a while.   She was really close to her mum and saw her as more a sister than a parent.

Billie met her mum at the psychic night where a few ghosts started appearing.  It wasn’t as bad as she thought, and she rather enjoyed it.   They never had contact with who they were looking for but socialized regardless.

Cosmo the cat was usually found sleeping with the kids, as he was fond of Eleanor.

The days and nights slowly passed on, with both toddlers becoming kids having totally different personalities.

Cayden had made sure that they always did their homework and light duties about the house.

Devlin had brought home a school project that he was trying to keep quiet.  He never realized that the school would phone his parents to say that he was the only kid never completed the task.   The school was only trying to find out if there was anything wrong, and inadvertently got Devlin in trouble with Cayden.

As soon as they were both home, Cayden sat Devlin down and completed the project together. Devlin was told never to do that again and was that unimpressed that a went through a phase of being a bear.

Cayden decided now that the kids are becoming toddlers, that little Cosmo should be Spayed.    He took her to the vets which was busy.   Cosmo ventered out in the surrounding area while it was our turn to be seen.   The vet called for Cosmo sometime afterwards so they both headed in to treatment room.   The vet did a little pre-examanation before attempting spay, and quickly realised that she had been bitten by a squirrel while roming outside.

Cayden decided just to give her the basic treatment with cone and wait a while longer to get spayed.

Billie’s mum had phoned to tell her about a psychic night happening next week in the Salty Paws Saloon.   She had wanted to see if she could get in contact with her husband, who died a few months earlier.   Billie decided that she would go even though not keen about the idea of seeing a ghost.

Eleanor quickly became friends with Cosmo, being a cat lover herself.   She was often found running off at the parks in the hope of finding stray cats to provide them with a home, food & water etc.

Bonnie decided since it was a good day that she would take the kids out to the toddler park where Eleanor soon learned that no pets were allowed.   She wasn’t happy just playing with all the fun stuff and ended up scratching knee, crying wanting to go home.

Cayden needed a little time to himself.  He had heard of an awesome party happening in town and said to Billie it was time for her to take care of the kids.   Cayden spent time relaxing and getting ready to head out for a night in town.  He invited Courtney along for some company and they both had a great night.

Unaware that both Bonnie and Courtney were planning a party for his birthday, Cayden thought to himself that this was would the last time he would be able to have fun for a while.   His birthday was in a few days, so he knew that it would be like every other year, a little dinner tea party with the family.

It was soon Cayden’s birthday, Billie stayed home with the kids and Bonnie said to Cayden ‘Do you fancy a little walk?’.   Cayden replied ‘Sure, what’s up’?

They headed out in the direction of the party and Bonnie directed him inside.   ‘Happy Birthday Cayden’ said Bonnie ‘Courtney is around somewhere too’.    He was delighted and emotional that both his sisters had prepared this little surprise.   They all had a great time, dancing and eating cake.

Bonnie came strolling in around 2am, whereas Cayden was tucked up around 11pm being more responsible.  The party was great success.

A few days later, Billie had mentioned that she was pregnant again just as Cayden predicted.   Billie had kept the secret quite until she was showing a bump.   They both decided she would continue to work until her due day to get as much money as possible for the household.

It wasn’t long before she started getting contractions/pain, so she went to the A & E to get checked as the baby was not due yet.   She was rushed into surgery immediately to have a caesarian as they were problems with the pregnancy.   The doctors knew that it was best for both mother and baby being separated to stand much better chance of living.   The baby was fully formed, just small and delicate.   Both Billie and the newly born baby spent weeks in hospital under doctor’s supervision.

Billie didn’t care about fashion and wore old clothes constantly.   She focused more on the kids instead.  Cayden came to visit at the hospital on many occasions and had to convince Billie that this baby needed a name, as it became healthy enough to go home.    They discussed it for several days and finally decided on Eleanor.

The day arrived when both Billie and Eleanor got home, so Cayden took on more responsibilities feeding and attending to kids to allow Billie to go back to work again.

 

Billie continued to hide until she was about to pop, so Cayden invited her over to make sure everything was ok.   They had a long deep discussion about their future, and decided it was time for her to move in and raise the baby together.

A few days later, Billie went into labor.  It happened so quickly, that there was no time to head to the hospital.  Luckily, they had discussed names during their big long discussion, so it was easy when the baby arrived.

It was a boy, named Devlin.   Renovations took place again, creating a child’s bedroom upstairs while baby Devlin slept in Cayden and Billie’s room.

During this period no photos were taken as it took a while to complete the upstairs floor.   Boxes lying everywhere with materials all around the Garden, as the construction workers never appeared when hired.   To keep the fun level’s up Billie and Cayden were constantly behaving like two lovesick teenagers.

Meanwhile, Bonnie had found her dream job as an entertainer since it branched into Musical gigs playing at all the different venues.  It was perfect timing as she was considering her future with Business Management  and no longer enjoyed it.   Her passion was still music, playing the violin, so it’s was time to brush up on her comic skills as she went for the interview.

Courtney had decided to move in with her new boyfriend and raise a family of her own.   She still visited the old family home every week to catchup with Bonnie & Cayden.

Eventually when Devlin was about a become a toddler, the renovations of upper floor were finished.  Cayden helped Devlin with the candles on the cake as he aged up.

Cayden tried to raise Devlin the best he could, potty training at every opportunity, as he knew it won’t be long before Billie was carrying again.

J started to decline in health by not eating properly.  Turned out that nothing could help console him and he quickly started whining Emilie all over again.   There love was so strong, that every day that passed, he mourned Emilie.    It finally became to much, dying from old age and malutrition.

With both parents now passed, everyone joined forces once again and started progressing in their careers to earn a little more cash.   Cayden meet Billie at the diner with old friend Bentley having an awesome night.   He asked Billie if she would stay the night, as he was starting to get tired.    She said yes and they both said their cheerios to Bentley and headed home together.

The following morning Billie spent a little time in the bathroom, so Cayden asked if she was ok before heading to work.   She said, “everything is fine, and I’ll see you later”.   Cayden headed out to work and left Billie to head home.

Billie couldn’t face going to work or talking to her parents as she knew the signs all to well.   Her friend went through the same thing recently and she knew that it was time to take the dreaded stick test.   So, she asked her friend to pop over, so she could hide and not have to explain herself to her parents.    It was inevitable she was pregnant.

Cosmo was a great comfort to Cayden, J, Bonnie & Courtney which was perfect as he never demanded anything in return being an independent pet.   Cayden enjoyed playing with his new little kitten and became great pals.

Occasionally Cayden started to venture out bumping into Billie from time to time.   She understood how he must have felt and kept her distance until he was ready.  Although she did continue to text him through his grieving stages to make sure all was ok.    Cayden was invited to her 18^th birthday party at her house so decided this was the perfect time to meet both her parents.   It was the best thing to happen to Cayden to enjoy life and be normal again.

J found it hard to cope without Emilie around.  His life had changed so much, that he forgot what it was like to be all alone.   To try and occupy his mind he decided to take up fishing again and resign from his job to relieve all the tension that was building up.

Bonnie and Courtney consoled in each other having long chats after work and throughout the nights.   Both girls tried to be strong for Cayden pointing him the right direction of paying bills, sorting the mail and meeting all the demands of household responsibilities.

Everyone was starting enjoy life again and couldn’t be happier.

Cayden got himself freshened up and headed to the hospital.   He just managed to say his final goodbye’s before Emilie passed away.

To help with the grieving process all over again, Cayden adopts a kitten called Cosmo.   He now has a huge amount of responsibility on his shoulders, becoming Heir of the household at only eighteen.
